After skipping a questioning session last week for fear of a trap, former National Police detective chief Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji looks certain to fulfill the second summons today, his lawyer says.
Lawyer Zul Armain Aziz said on Monday his client would undergo a questioning in connection with alleged bribery in the police investigation into a deception case involving owners of an arwana ornamental fish breeding company in the Riau capital of Pekanbaru.
“Today Pak Susno will turn up for the questioning at the National Police Headquarters at 10 a.m.,” the lawyer said as quoted by Antara state news agency.

Susno refused to meet the police summons on Thursday, citing his unclear status in the questioning. His lawyers believed their client would be named suspect and arrested following the questioning.

The bribery case reportedly involved two persons who have been named suspects in the money laundering case implicating former tax official Gayus H. Tambunan, which was revealed by Susno. The police have named eight suspects in the Gayus case, including two police detectives and a former diplomat who Susno referred to as a case broker.
